July 2008 Having recently created a stir with its 500GB, 2.5 HDD, Verbatim is now bringing to market a Premium Black Edition of the 150 gram External Hard Drive, with 250GB of storage space, at a value for money price! With a black protective rubber coating the streamlined External 2.5 Hard Drive provides 250GB capacity in an ultra light casing while measuring just 8.45 x 13.45 x 1.6 cm small enough to fit into the palm of the hand.
We are conscious that our customers want their drives to deliver capacity and reliability, but that they also want it to look good. The Hard Drive is so small that it really is ultra portable. It takes up so little space, drives just dont get more mobile than this, says Miroschnik.
The External Hard Drive makes the rapid and straightforward storage of large volumes of data possible for PC users. Running at 5,400 rpm data is transferred, via the USB ports, at speeds of up to 480 MBit/s. The USB port also supplies the HDD with power, so no further power connection is needed. Nero BackItUp 2 Essentials is used for user friendly backup operations.
The aesthetically pleasing Verbatim Premium Black Edition of the 2.5 HDD with 250GB of storage capacity, is available now.
