Egham, 24th October 2008 Verbatim has developed two HD Video SDHC flash cards with particularly impressive features such as high data transfer rates and videos in top HD quality. The flash cards are now available in the shops with 4 GB and 8 GB storage capacity. The new HD Video SDHC flash card from Verbatim is especially suitable for use in camcorders, but also guarantees top-quality photos in cameras. It has the highest speed class rating of 6, writes at a speed of 9 MB/s (66x) and reads at 20 MB/s (133x). The 4 GB card holds 90 minutes of video at medium image resolution. The 8 GB SD card stores 180 minutes or 1 hour at the highest resolution. The HD Video SDHC can also be used in the new generation of mirror reflex cameras that can film in HD quality such as the Canon EOS 5D Mark II or the Nikon D90.
